Seven For A Secret Never To Be Told...

Sorry I haven't blogged about my adventures all week, I've been ill. All over Birmingham town centre if one must know! Plus I've had shit internet and a slow laptop to work with. Well, here's what I've been doing the last week. Sorry for any spelling errors, and lack of details: I have a massive migraine, and my ribs are killing me! I'll correct them when I'm better!

So, Thursday, we all took a trip to the Lakeland Motor Museum, seeing lots of vintage cars. I really wanted the MGTA, but apparently I'm not allowed. Then we took a steam train from up the road, and went to visit the aquarium. There were cute turtles there! Then that evening we went back to the caravan, and watched Sliding Doors once the little one was asleep.

Friday, we left the caravan, and the family we were staying with went back home. We then went down to a hotel in Coventry. Looking at the weather in Morecambe, we decided it was probably not best to risk camping out. We didn't do much except travel down and get an early night. Oh, and witness an incredibly tacky prom entrance!

Saturday we had a little shopping spree around Coventry. I never knew Ikea sold food! We got a few other bits and then went back to the hotel. That evening, we decided to go to a bar in Birmingham. Just to see if I could get away with it. Yes, I managed it alright! We were going to watch a live performance of the Titanic in the town centre, but then I threw up, ad the St John's Ambulance had to check me out. Since then, My ribs, back and hips have been aching like hell.

Sunday, we left the hotel, and picked up the lady I was originally staying with, from Birmigham. We then travelled back down, had a drive through Brighton, and went back to Hastings. Monday was really a non event too. I was feeling so ill and barely ate a thing. Then we walked in the evening around some park.

Tuesday however, I went to London for the first time! I hugged a Romainian guy dressed in a chicken costume, and some guy from Ghana made this friendship bracelet. I saw the London Eye, The Houses Of Parliament and Waterloo Station. Then I had to come home. A three-and-a-half hour journey back to Exeter. I must admit, it was very nice to see signs that I actually recognised though!

So that ends my awesome adventure! The last two weeks have been mental! Hell, it was so fun, I wanna go back! There is reasoning behind it though, as the title states. I want another adventure! Even though it's good to be home, I want another adventure! I will post pictures as soon as I can see without my head hurting!

Wacky-Tacky Grockle Shit!

Sunday, we travelled to a little static caravan site near Morecambe. I met a couple of Stephen's friends, and their baby son. He is so intelligent and adorable!

Yesterday, we all went to Lakeland Wildlife Park for half a day, which was lovely. The birds were running loose, and I think I flirted with one. It wouldn't come over, so I made funny noises, and then it came over, and started bobbing its head and feather at me! Then in the afternoon, we went for a wander down Morecambe promenade. I wandered over the stones, and then we played in the sand for a bit. Lovely day!

Today, we took a day trip to Blackpool. Yes, the place full of wacky-tacky grockle shit. Absolutely fantastic! Me and Stephen ended up going off to one of the piers hoping to get another kitty. Instead, we came back with four other toys, a tank, a noisy stick and four crap CDs. So much fun! The picture is me looking like a grockle holding the Blackpool Tower. Yes, I couldn't resist it! I'm a true grockle! I'm so excited for even MORE adventures this week!

Down To The Hospital, Up To The Roof Tent!

On Thursday evening, I got rushed to hospital in Hastings. Apparently, I'd had a Grand Ditzy, as the migraine caused me to become unresponsive. I don't really remember anything, only that I went upstairs just before dinner, with a stiff neck. Basically, the people I was staying with, and Stephen, got rather worried, and called an ambulance. I was unresponsive to anything apparently: French, tickling, pain. I just remember waking up in the A&E room with a stonking migraine. Then the doctors shoved this IV tube thing in my hand, and I had to stay overnight. Thankfully I didn't need a drip, and the scans were okay, but, BLEH! Even now, my feet don't tickle, and its very hard to get my left arm working properly, as there's just no strength. I feel like a right idiot, but I know people care!

Me and Stephen left Hastings yesterday, and visited Herstmonceux and Brighton for the day. Then we travelled up to a campsite in Oxfordshire, which is also an ice cream farm! Everyone else in their caravans found us funny, cooking out of the back of the wagon in the rain! However, I finally got to sleep in the roof tent! So much fun! Later on, we're off to somewhere in the Lake District, and we should get to Morecambe on Monday! I'm incredibly excited!

More Ooh Shiny?

Tuesday, I went into Hastings for a wander. I won a rather cute Strawberry Kitty which I need to name still. I'm getting a little addicted to the arcades now, silly me! I also found somewhere that sells Nightwish bag patches cheaply!

Yesterday, I made a bag using the sewing machine and the embroidery machine. It has my name on! Then after dinner, we made chocolate chip cookies, which were very nommy. Then me and Stephen took the pink tiger, and went to see Men In Black 3. It's a great film! Then we got McDonald's and went back.

Today, I met up with my friend Leila, who I haven't seen in about seven or eight years. It was a good catch up actually, and good to see her. We just went round town, and bought bits for Father's Day. However, when I got back a while ago, it seems that I have pulled a muscle in my neck, and it's absolute agony. So I'm having to watch Nightwish's End Of An Era DVD. With a teddy and warm neck soother thing. What a shame!

"I say, Hastings..."

This is Billie. Billie is my new kitty that Cheesy had smuggled from Cheddar Gorge. I named her after one of the adults at Army Cadets, who gave me my first nickname. Anyhow, that doesn't really relate to the title of this post. I'm in Hastings, starting off my two week random trip. So far, I've been clawed around the eyes by one of the cats, I've watched Despicable Me, and I've played online. The lady and her husband I'm staying with are absolutely wonderful! I'm looking forward to the rest of the week here!  I even get to meet Stephen's dog Peter tonight! I'm incredibly excited!

CHOO-CHOO!

Today, we went to Dartmouth. First, we went on a steam train from Goodring to Kingswear. Then we caught a ferry to Dartmouth. So yeah, we wondered round Dartmouth for a couple of hours, looking at oooh-shiny stuff. Then, just before catching the steam train back, I got a duckbilled platypus toy that I named Leroy, after Leroy Jethro Gibbs in NCIS. Today was rather good, and I did love the steam train. The views to the sea from it were amazing! CHOO-CHOO!

Dawlish Air Show 2012

Today, we went to Dawlish Air Show. I got to play with some nice rifles, and go in an aircraft simulator! I won a Hello Kitty-a-like toy on one of the stands too! Plus, we saw lots of planes flying around on display. Shame we didn't take any pictures of The Red Arrows! Then were rather loud, but great to watch!

Then we spent some of the afternoon gambling at Dawlish Warren, trying to get one of the Hello Kitty plushies there. So much fun, it was unbelievable. I'm not a gambling addict seriously! The on the way out, we visited a rather peculiar old-fashioned sweet shop, that one of my old teachers, Mr D, now runs! Actually, the mints are fantastic! Another brilliant day!

Lyme Bay, Longleat & Lots Of Weather!

First, we went to Lyme Regis to go to Dinosaurland Museum. It was brilliant! Skeletons and shells of prehistoric creatures. I also lost Cheesy here, but don't panic, I gained a soft toy friend called Regis! I wanna go back sometime!

Then we went to Longleat for the afternoon. We did the safari tour, and we were the only car, well safari wagon, with three monkeys on it! Plus, I got to hand feed some deer. Then we went and saw some meerkats, and had a mini train ride around some of the grounds!

On the way home from picking the dog up from Grandmoff's, we went round the seafront. The weather's manky, and it was blowing up massive waves. So me and The Photograher Dude Stephen went down Jacob's Ladder in Sidmouth. He got a 'little' splattered, and I got blown about alot by the wind, but it was fantastic! I love today!

A Shanty Up The Exe!

This evening, we went on a cruise up the River Exe, starting from Exmouth, to watch The Exmouth Shanty Men perform. It seemed like a random evening out, but they were actually really good. A little bit of bad language, and quite a bit of double entendre really made my evening! They were absolutely crazy, but fantastic! I really hope I get to see them perform again, it was definitely worth while! Including there jokes about Sidmouth, which were actually very accurate! They're wonderful, with their sailor sense of humour!

A GORGEous Day Out!

Today we went to Cheddar Gorge. Well, I'm not a big cheese fan, however, the caves were amazing! I even had the audiotour in French! There were strange calcite deposits, and some of the walls were green with copper! I put a penny in one of the little natural water displays too, for hope. I was also given a small dinosaur keyring that I named Cheesy: appropriate much? Well, I loved today out,as I've never been to Cheddar Gorge. I hope to go back at some point!

Sidmouth Vintage Car Show 2012

Today we stayed in town and went to see the Sidmouth Vintage Car Show. Lots of pretty cars that of course, I want, but are bound to be incredibly expensive. Some of them were so old that they were first registered in the 1960's! It was quite a good day actually. I won a couple of lollies on the Brownie's stand. I also met some dude called Giles.

Then we went back to Grandmoff's for a late lunch, and showed Stephen around The Byes. We even went all the way down to the waterfall, which makes a change! I'm actually really starting to like this week! More adventures to come!

Dulverton Duck Derby (Then A Magical Mystery Tour On Exmoor!)

So, the Photographer Dude, Stephen, is down for the week. Today, me, my mum, my dog and him went to Dulverton in Somerset to find a Folk Festival. Instead, we discovered a duck derby! It was fun, and I bought lots of tickets, but didn't win anything. I won a drink and a perfume on the tombola though. Plus I met some random lad my age, but I have no idea who the heck he is! Then we went for lunch in The Town Mills, which was lovely! I had a large jacket potato!

After lunch, we decided to go for a little drive around before going home. For a while, the SatNav didn't have signal, and we just kept driving UP hills, with no idea where we were going!  A rather fun magical mystery tour! The fog was so thick that you could only see one field either side. We ended up passing 3 DIFFERENT 'Welcome To Devon' signs before the SatNav started working! It was a rather interesting detour in the end, to the middle of nowhere with cattle grids, and there were plenty of sheep! It was such a lovely day!
