Y Is For...

Yellow Glowsticks!
This maybe one of the most important memories of mine. It is perhaps a naïve idea, but it sure worked! This first time I wore a Yellow Glowstick was Christmas Camp 2008. It was there I wore a corset, and danced all night with a girl called Emily. She never came back to Army Cadets, but I thought that perhaps the glowsticks were supposed to be lucky. So for the Summer Camp 2009 disco, I wore two Yellow Glowsticks, and met Rebecca. Then every time I was going to meet up with her, the night before, I put a Yellow Glowstick above my window by my bed. I wished so hard, and stared at it until I fell asleep. For Summer Camp 2010, I put a Yellow Glowstick above my bed each night for luck, and to remind me how long I'd been there! Finally, for the Summer Camp 2010 disco, I wore another two Yellow Glowsticks, even though I never really went to the disco. One last Yellow Glowstick was hung above my bed after that Summer Camp, for 1st September 2010. I just could never bear taking them down, as it's now a part of what has made me, a precious part of my innocent memories, hung up for me to see every night...
