I want to start by announcing that it's my blog's 3rd Birthday today! Now, I'm not a Muslim, nor religious at all for that matter. I own seven Bibles and wear a cross pendant, but I'm no Christian. However, I can appreciate religion. It can cause the most intolerance, yet give society the greatest morals. The main reason I own a copy of the Qur'an, and also somewhere, the Bhagavad Gita, is because of my dream to be a translator. You cannot truly interpret a culture without knowledge and understanding their beliefs. So I read part of it to help understand cultural references, and to get a different perspective of the world. Many different views and beliefs make the world a vast, great and exciting place!
