From IB to A Levels, Again.

Well. It was bye bye IB. B's & C's aren't good enough, but that's no surprise! However, I've managed to negotiate 3 AS Levels, in French, English Language and History Classics, plus a GCSE Spanish. Afterschool, I hope to take up Sign Language, Jiu Jitsu and World Films. Not exactly what I wanted, but I guess it's the the best I'm gonna get! Anything to stop me going back to Sidmouth College!

My French Result.

Well. It turns out it doesn't seem I was marked on coursework, only effort on Intervention Day. On French intervention, I didn't pay much attention or do much work, because I couldn't think past that ginger bitch that dumped me a while ago. I couldn't concentrate. Intervention was only a couple of weeks after the break-up. I can't believe he didn't really take my old coursework in to account. He marked me on one single day. So it looks like to get that Higher French in the IB I want, I'm going to have to negotiate my arse off. If I can't get on Higher French, I won't be able to get on the university course I want. IT'S NOT FAIR! IT'S NOT FAIR!!!
A* in Reading. A in Listening. (The Exams)

GCSE Results...

Well. That was interesting.
B in English. C in Maths. B in Biology. C in Chemistry.C in Physics. B in History. B in Shourt-Course RE. B in French.
However, there seems to be a problem with my French by the looks of it. I got an A and an A* in the exams, but they put my coursework as C's. I was told I was at least borderline A/B. So that's got to be followed up. We don't even get official certificates, just confusing bits of paper that the school have printed from Excel. What a fucking piss-take. I can, thankfully, do just about everything I want on the IB, just. What a goddamn palaver. >.<

UK Riots 2011

It's such a shame. Four consecutive nights of pointless, mindless rioting in the UK. No matter was some people say, their was no excuse for this. It can't have been a protest for anything:

Where were the signs? Why weren't they attacking politicians?

If people had a purpose for the rioting, they wouldn't have been looting, and they would not have been afraid to show their faces, no matter how illegal everything was. Thankfully, Sidmouth only had a few smashed windows, and Exeter only had a few dustbins set alight. Some guys in balaclavas were seen heading towards Plymouth after a football match, but they were arrested. This is just terrible! I hope this doesn't impact the Olympics next year. Why does everything need to be destroyed? It's only costing the country more money that we don't have!

This guy is a twat. That's all I can say really. To be so stupid as to put a picture of yourself online with the goods you've looted, well, it just proves that many of the rioters have no intelligence whatsoever.
As for the family that owned this business, I feel so sorry. Reeves Furniture Store had been in the family for 5 generations, and stupid, numb-skulled rioters burnt it down, simply for the hell of it. Bless their little great-grandson, who offered to get Bob The Builder to fix it- that's the spirit! This has meant the family has lost their business, their livelihood, for absolutely no reason at all. The building had even survived the war! Yet it can't survive a stupid riot! Other people have lost their homes: whole families have been made homeless. How heartless can some people be? Bastards!
I love these Sikhs. I mean, they were guarding their temple, and guarding their communities! People that went out and guarded their communities should be congratulated, especially those 3 men that were killed by some moronic looter that ran them over. Thankyou to the people that organised clean-up operations via social networking. That showed the thugs that we're better than them!

I notice however, it seems to be the youth that are doing this. Children as young as 9. No wonder the older generations are scared of us teenagers. They see us all as mindless, uneducated thugs that can only destroy things and loot things. Especially if they're wearing a hoodie! I mean, all this rioting is giving you people a bad name, that most of us do not deserve! To any older person that may read this:We are not all thugs. Some of us are educated. Some of us do care.

Folk Week 2011

29th July - 5th August

This year, I got to have the whole of Folk Week, rather than Summer Camp interrupting. However, I had to work, but I was allowed to sell my badges in the shop! On the last day, at midnight, Me, mum, Dawn and Gemma went to see a group called The Spooky Men's Chorale. They were fantastic! I really Must see them next year!
