Merry Christmas 2010!

It's Christmas again.

Lots of presents, some food, and too much free time. Mind you, I got lots of good stuff, and I have a 90 day RuneScape membership gift card, so I'm easily amused! Well, it's been a pretty good day, but I'll be glad when it's finally over!

Dry Roasted Peanuts, Angel!

Yesterday, late afternoon, my mum found a package in our outside cupboard, with the rest of the post. It was a strange package, in brown paper, with a card sellotaped to the top. I recognised the handwriting immediately, and the postcode. She had given me a present. I took it inside. On the side of the brown paper, it said, 'open the card first', so I did. It made me cry. I really didn't want to be reminded that she's gone. But then I decided to open the present. There was part of me that just wanted to shove it under my bed without opening it, but no. I couldn't. I took off the brown paper, and then the wrapping paper. There was a tub with 'Dry Roasted Peanuts' on it. Seriously? But it never rattled... I opened the tub, and there was screwed up newspaper inside... And a little, white, box.
I opened the box. Inside, was a worry angel, something so small, something so delicate. My first thought was simply 'It's beautiful'...

I saw the small bubble in her head, I knew what I wanted to do.
I love it, and it means the world to me. She's perfect.

Rose In The Snow

I edited it a little. My rose broke off my plant, so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to practice my photography with all the snow!

Well, today I visited Rebecca's YouTube, and on her page, she had this song playing. I looked up the lyrics, and I never realised how much it would hurt. I don't believe her anymore, but this gave me a glimpse of hope. Perhaps she really did love me? Perhaps she did care for me?

It's haunting, so very, very haunting.
